THE COATS OF ARMS OF THE COUNTS "DE CECCANO"

The eagle is the classic image of the counts de Ceccano: we can find different releases of it.

THE COATS OF ARM OF ANNIBALDO IV DE CECCANO

It's made up of a middle eagle in the left side and six mid-sized moons in the right side. The eagle is the symbol of the de Ceccano's family, while the mid-sized moons recall his beloved uncle Jacopo Stefaneschi.
This coat of arms is situated in the church of Santa Maria a Fiume, in Carpineto Romano, on the facade of the cardinal palace in Avignon.
In the Archieves of France and the archivies of Cote d'Or there are two sigils of Annibaldo, with the classical symbols of the two families Ceccano-Stefaneschi.
